MYK Design Office, based in Tokyo, is a creative production company engaged in various fields of traditional craftsmanship. We collaboratively envision the future of craftsmanship, undertaking initiatives for its preservation and evolution.
Specializing in textiles, we handle everything from product planning, design, branding, to production, utilizing traditional techniques. Additionally, guided by the concept of exploring Japan’s aesthetic consciousness, we operate our in-house apparel brand.

Creative Director
Graduated from the Craft Department of Tama Art University, specializing in contemporary ceramics, I developed a keen interest in folklore studies and cultural anthropology. Inspired by my focus on modern ceramics during my academic journey, I furthered my education at Central Saint Martins, London, delving into sustainable fashion.
In 2019, I founded the fashion brand MUSKAAN. The inception of this venture was a pivotal moment influenced by my studies in sustainable fashion. I am dedicated to exploring the aesthetic consciousness and spirituality born from Japan’s rich natural environment, encapsulated within the realm of silk weaving and dyeing craftsmanship.
熊本県生まれ。多摩美術大学工芸学科卒業。専攻である現代陶芸を通して、民俗学や文化人類学に興味を持つ。ロンドンにてサステナブルファッションを学んだことをきっかけに、2019年ファッションブランドMUSKAANを立ち上げる。自然豊かな日本の風土が生んだ美意識や精神性を、絹織物という染織工芸の中に探る取り組みを続けている。
